Around the world as a wedding photographer
On December 31st, last year marked the conclusion of an extraordinary 2023 for us as a wedding photographers. It was a year filled with successes both in our professional career and in our personal lives.
Over these 12 months, we had the privilege of laughing, enjoying, meeting incredible people, and living exciting adventures. From local weddings to unforgettable international experiences, each captured moment has become a treasure.
In my early days as a wedding photographer, seasons were limited to a few months in the summer. However, this trend has changed dramatically in the last two years. Now, photographing weddings from January to December has become the norm, providing us with valuable experience, although it has also involved a considerable workload.
Our weddings no longer know geographical boundaries; they have evolved into international events. Our board is the world, and couples seek us out from every corner of the planet. From a wedding in New Zealand in January to the Indian wedding of Tuisha & Gaurav in Vietnam, we have traveled and captured unforgettable moments.
Last year, we explored 14 countries, returning to some of them on multiple occasions, such as India, where we not only conducted workshops but also had the privilege of photographing several weddings, including one in Goa and another in Doha.
Our experiences spanned various wedding styles, from Jewish weddings in Marbella to fairytale celebrations in Mallorca and events in Barcelona that made us feel like part of the family.
This year was exceptional, and we sincerely thank all the people who have been part of our journey: from those who offered their selfless support to colleagues in the wedding photography industry, and, of course, the couples who trusted us. THANK YOU!
And to top it off, we share exciting news: Erika is pregnant. Our son Leo will have a little sibling in the middle of this year. Welcome, 2024, we are ready for more successes and joys!
